The Age of Love - Finale

The finale is so close now!

The Age of Love Show which stars Mark Philippoussis (the tennis player) and some forty something and twenty something women has become a hit TV show.

It’s been on E4 on Wednesday night and now its all coming to an end as the final approaches. In last weeks episode we saw Maria eliminate herself, leaving Megan, Amanda and Jennifer in the final.

For the finale the three girls and bachelor Marc were flying to Austrailia to meet his family.

Megan however has a fear of flying, just before boarding the plane, she panics and pulls out. Mark then puts her in a taxi, missing his flight, but for the first time they become more intimate and kiss for the first time, leaving Marc gutted.

However he stumbles on, and gets ready to make his decision with his now final two, Amanda and Jennifer.
Now left is one twenty something and one fourty something. T

he battle between these two groups in the show, have been fierce. They have done anything and everything they could to get their man!

The whole question that this show was about, was does age really matter? Would it affect the decisions Mark would make?

Up until now, it has been quite balanced, with not one really winning over the other one.

But now is the moment of truth, will Mark choose a twenty something or will he choose his fourty something?

The Simple Life - Camp Shawnee

Paris and Nicole are still up mischief this week more than ever, does that surprise you?

In most recent episodes, we’ve seen the girls become training coaches for pageant girls and then soon turned the tables on the girls’ mums.

This week they became relationship counsellors, holding re-commitment ceremonies for those trying to find their way and re-kindle their love.

Paris puts her forming relationship with Hunter aside, and concentrates on other peoples needs.
Couples arrive at Camp Shawnee to be greeted by Paris and Nicole.

The couples are all in need of some romancing, and who better to help them out than our two favourite girls.

There’s even a surprise in store for one of the lucky ladies when a proposal is made! All this romance leaves Paris feeling a little bit lonely, and her thoughts soon start turning to Hunter.

Another fun packed episode, with the girls constantly making us laugh! This is yet another smashing episode not to be missed!

Ugly Betty!

Who would ever think that Betty Suarez works for Mode Magazine? But it's true.

She may not look the part, and say all the right things that you would hear within the fashion world but our very own Betty has her own individual style and holds great morals, she is truly unique!

In this weeks recent episode we saw the funeral of the great legend Bradford Meade. Betty tries to keep everyone together, and does her best to help Daniel to get Mode Magazine published in time. The problem is half of his staff has walked out. They have all actually gone to work for a new magazine called Slater! Yes you guessed it, its Willies new magazine.

Amongst all this trouble, Betty still doesn’t know if she wants to work for Mode Magazine, she believes she was becoming someone she didn’t want to become, a Mode girl. With a heart to heart with Daniel and giving him advice the tables soon turn when Daniel gives Betty her own advice. Its about time Betty realises Mode is where she should be!

After a very long day, and twists and turns, Mode Magazine Issue 001 is published. Daniel decides the magazine needs a new legacy of life, and decides to re-launch it as 001 instead of 412.

In another place not too far away, Willie is not as happy, as daddy refuses to finance her magazine! Is it all over for Willie? Is Daniel looking to a new beginning? And will Betty ever be happy at Mode?

We shall have to wait and find out in next weeks episode!

Bring back the O.C?

The hit U.S show The O.C lasted for four series, but then decided to call it a day, but was this the right decision to make when it was doing so well?

We first met Seth, Ryan, Marissa and Summer way back in late 2003 and instantly they had us all glued to our screens, watching them week after week waiting in temptation for the next episode.

Summer and Marissa were the girls that everyone wanted to look like, have the clothes they was wearing and be doing the things they were doing, almost as if they had just been pulled out of Vogue Magazine; they looked that good.

Seth the comic geek, and Ryan the bad boy from Chino couldn't have been more different, but their close bond as brothers and their friendship couldn't have been stronger, always there helping each other out, be it with relationship worries or trouble either one had got themselves into.

But all in all, this famous four truly had some great lives giving us the great show to keep us hooked.

After four series, and the loss of Marissa it all seemed to be taking its toll. The famous four was no longer, however we did get to know Taylor Townsend a lot more, her relationship with Ryan certainly did start to blossom in series 4 and we was left wondering in the finale whether Taylor and Ryan would make it the whole way just like Summer and Seth did.

We also saw the new arrival of the Cohen family as Mummy Kirsten Cohen gives birth to a cute baby girl, and how could we forget the arrival of Julie Cooper’s little boy as well.

So much has happened over these past four series, and I for one have thoroughly enjoyed The O.C. To see it all go is sad, it would almost be a waste. There is still so much to go, will the two new arrivals be the new Seth and Summer? Will Taylor and Ryan ever get it together?

And speaking of Seth and Summer has it lasted? And there is also Marissa’s younger sister, still living in Newport, is she causing just as much chaos as before?

Even if it were a spin off, it would be great to have the unanswered questions answered.

The days of Orange County are hugely missed, even though the famous four is still not remaining, to see the shenanigans of Seth, Summer and Ryan and the rest of the crew just once more and tie up all the loose ends that remain would be hit!

And how can we resist seeing the beautiful beach of Newport and those lavish dinner parties that were always being hosted. Bring back The O.C that’s what I say, even if it is just the once!
